Kevin Costner was seen on a rare public outing with one of his teenage children after returning to the US on Monday.
The 69-year-old Horizon star was pictured out in Summerland, California, as he leaned in for an affectionate hug with his 17-year-old son Cayden after they had lunch together.
The father–son duo were seen heading into the parking lot after having a bite at the Summerland Beach Cafe in Santa Barbara County, which wasn't too far from the sprawling compound where Kevin lives with his minor children, including his 15-year-old son Hayes and 14-year-old daughter Grace.
The director and Yellowstone actor had returned to California after he shared photos of himself soaking up some sun on a yachtoff the coast of Italy earlier this month.
The filmmaker — whose recent Western epic disappointed at the box office — shares Cayden and his two other youngest children with his ex Christine Baumgartner, with whom he had been engaged in a 'crushing' divorce fight since her filing in May of 2023.

He added a splash of color with a sporty set of orange sunglasses that stood out.
As Kevin and Cayden prepared to part, they reached out for a hug before going their separate ways.
